Considering that the teams were scrapping over bottom place in Div 1, the
fact that 4 games were decided by blunders of assorted magnitudes is perhaps not
surprising. I was our only beneficiary. Mike Levene's fine performance on top
board was easily our best effort. (HKM)

We had no board 4 - so the result was reasonable considering the overall
difference in gradings. (PC)
Welcome to Richard Nash who is working in Bristol for a short time. (JR)

I was acting captain; I thought that the team did well, almost all the games
were playing after 21/2 hours; Mike G. did well to recover from a very sticky
situation, whilst David F. next to me looked OK, but Jim ground out the win in a
4-rook endgame. (ML)
